"THE FIRST EVER PARA SURFER BOARDRIDERS CLUB IN AUSTRALIA & POSSIBLY THE WORLD" Adam Seminara, Surfing NSW

A TITLE WE ARE STOKED TO HAVE!!

As the world's first Para Surfer Boardriders Club, we're proud to be at the forefront of inclusivity in surfing. This milestone marks a significant step towards making surfing accessible to all.

The Northern Beaches Para Surfer Boardriders Club is a non-profit organisation established with the purpose of promoting the sport of surfing, fostering a sense of community among local surfers, and promoting #OceanTherapy for people who live with disability.

The objectives of the club include organising surf events, providing educational programs, promoting safety and sustainability practices, and fostering a positive surfing culture within the community.

NBPSB: A Blueprint for Global Impact

Our vision for NBPSB extends far beyond our local community. We believe that the innovative strategies and successful outcomes achieved through our program can serve as a blueprint for similar initiatives worldwide. By sharing our knowledge and experiences, we aim to inspire and empower other regions to replicate and adapt our model to address their unique challenges.

Through open-source platforms, comprehensive documentation, and collaborative partnerships, we will provide the tools and resources necessary for others to establish their own NBPSB-inspired programs. By fostering a global community of practitioners, we can collectively advance sustainable practices, improve environmental outcomes, and create a more equitable future for all.

In just two years, we've cultivated an enthusiastic community on the Gold Coast and they will be launching the Gold Coast Para Surfer Boardriders Club. Check them out on the gram @goldcoastparasurfer
