PARTNERSHIPS & AFFILIATIONS
From Little Things Big Things Grow
In 2022, Em Dieters won the ISA World Para Surfing Championship in Women's Prone 2 (Prone Assist) at Pismo Beach, CA. This achievement came after only a handful of times in the water since acquiring her Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). Her first comp was the Australian Championships, followed by her second ever comp at... you guessed it, the World Championships!
The following year, Em continued her Para Surfing journey by winning the ISA World Para Surfing Championship in the Women's Prone 1 (unassist) classification. This victory showcased her incredible progress and solidified her status as fierce competitor in para surfing.
THE START OF A MOVEMENT
But this experience sparked the thought... where was the start of this para surfing pathway?
